Returning Favorite - Fringe Orphans - TRP
The Orphans return for their fourth (non-consecutive) year! A cabaret of short pieces created by a bevy of talented artists. All of them too good for a full hour.
This is a place where ideas good enough for a five or ten minute riff, but not quite enough to stretch the length of a full Fringe show, go for refuge.
Once again it brings together a roster of Fringe favorites - including curator Brian Watson-Jones, Heidi Berg, phillip low, Scot Moore, Jenna Papke, David Schlosser, Duck Washington and many more, as writers, directors, designers and performers.
Titles of the shorts this time around include: A Day at the Museum: A Cautionary Tale; D0C3NT, I Feel Like Something's Missing, Intro to Gay Dating 101: Fresh Meat; Lemonade Stand, and The Sad Unicorn.
I’ve reassured Mom no one will be ripping a page out of a Bible this time (yes, guys, she still remembers that). Bring on the weird scenes and snippets!
They have two shows opening weekend - Thursday 8/2 (tonight) at 8:30pm, and Sunday 8/5 at 7pm
Here's some handy links to my full Top 10, Top 11-20 and Returning Favorites lists.
